Jesus Falls the Third Time
A meditation and prayer on the ninth Station of the Cross.
Meditation: The third fall of Jesus, close to the end of His journey, highlights the exhaustion that can come from prolonged trials and the feeling of being at one's limit. Yet, it also signifies the importance of enduring faith and the hope of imminent victory. Reflect on the times you've felt at your limit and how faith in Christ's ultimate victory gave you the strength to continue.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, in Your third and final fall, we are reminded of the moments we've felt closest to giving up, under the weight of our crosses. Yet, in You, we find the strength to stand again, encouraged by the promise of Your resurrection and the victory that lies just beyond our trials. Instill in us an enduring faith, to persevere through our darkest hours, trusting in Your promise that morning always follows night. May our final pushes through hardship be marked by a hope that is anchored in Your victory over death and sin. Amen.
