Jesus Falls the First Time
A meditation and prayer on the third Station of the Cross.
Meditation: This first fall of Jesus under the cross is a stark reminder of human frailty and the inherent limits we all face. Yet, it also speaks to the beginning of trials, where the initial shock and pain at the beginning of difficult challenges are most acutely felt. Reflect on these unique moments of struggle in your life, how they tested your faith, and how turning to Jesus provided you the foundation to overcome them.
Prayer: Lord, in Your first fall, we recognize our own initial stumbles in faith and life. You remind us that beginnings, though fraught with trial, are also filled with Your presence and strength. Teach us to seek You at the onset of our struggles, trusting that You are with us from the first step to the last. May we find in Your example the courage to face our challenges with faith, knowing that You guide our steps and lift us when we fall. Amen.
