Jesus Falls the Second Time
A meditation and prayer on the seventh Station of the Cross.
Meditation: Jesus' second fall under the cross symbolizes the moments of relapse or recurring struggles in our spiritual journey. It reminds us that the path of faith is not linear and that setbacks are a part of growth. Reflect on the cycles or recurring challenges in your life, and how perseverance in faith has been crucial in navigating them.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in the repeated fall of Your Son, we see the reality of our ongoing struggles and the persistence needed to walk with You. Teach us that even when we face the same challenges time and again, Your grace is sufficient, and Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Encourage us to persevere, not in our power but in the assurance of Your unending love and grace. May each rise after a fall deepen our faith and draw us closer to You. In the name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.
