Meditation: Upon being sentenced, Jesus embraces His cross, a symbol of shame and punishment, transforming it into the ultimate symbol of love and redemption. Reflect on the crosses you bear or have borne in life, remembering that Jesus invites us to find in Him the strength to carry them and the promise of transformation through participating in His suffering.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, just as Jesus took up His cross out of love for us, grant us the strength to carry our own crosses with courage and faith. In every burden we bear, let us see the opportunity to share in Christ's sufferings and to grow closer to Him. Remind us that no cross is borne in vain and that You are always with us, transforming our struggles into paths of redemption and grace. May we follow Jesus' example of humility and perseverance, knowing that beyond the cross lies the resurrection. In Jesus' name, Amen.
